The new theme at the 5 Spot is centered around New Orleans. Along with the Creole, Shrimp and Grits, you'll see some art from local artists. With this theme, their having an art auction that will be running through Christmas Eve. It's a silent auction and I think that means you can submit a bid up until the last minute and the winner will be decided on Christmas Eve. The proceeds from the silent auction will go to buy art supplies and musical instruments for the Fannie C. Williams School in New Orleans.
So get on down to the 5 Spot, get a little taste of the French Quarter, and look at some of the fine art. Who knows, maybe one of the pieces will be exactly what your looking for and you'll have a chance to give to a worthy cause.
